The Midland Florist, and Suburban Horticulturist 4: 362-364 (1850)
R.S. -- Malines, Belgium.
Madame Lamoriciere is a very singular and novel rose. There is a peculiar transparency about the petals, which I have not noticed in roses of this class. The colour is a bright pink, the back of the petals being of a much lighter shade.

I would also like to help load 'the Midland Florist and Suburban Horticulturist' references.
However, there are two listings for this publication - one with capitals and one without, And different dates. Admin - are these two publications the same? And which is the correct date?
They are:
The Midland Florist and Suburban Horticulturist - from 1857
The Midland Florist and suburban horticulturist - from 1847

The difference uin the listings is a comma after the florist. The second one (from 1847) is correct. The first listing (66.2240) can be merged into the second (66.2306)
