'Red Mirato ®' rose Reviews & Comments

I planted this rose at my friend's place. It was actually quite cute and did its job. Some minor bs but nothing to care about. It bloomed all summer and the red was quite nice.
I think in 2022, Sunrosa Red would be a good choice for the same spot for "tiny red landscape". I still have it and like it a lot. Actually, I have two.
Red Drift is red, as well, and does quite well, but its REALLY hard to call it a rose. Its so wispy and the blooms are not much to look at. But it looks good far away.

This rose is being sold under the name Chateau Merlot in the big box stores. It had powdery mildew the first year I planted it. The next year there was none, but it did get some black spot, though not too bad versus some of the plants near by. My Iceberg, just 6 feet away, dropped all it's leaves after a heavey rain from BS.
The flowers on my plant were single to semi double and were a striking dark red. The plant still hasn't gotten very big just 18" high x 18" wide. It was hardy to the snow cover here in Zone 4
