Despite what many of the books say, the label "La Reine Victoria" belongs to no rose. Depending on which rose you are referring to, you either have to: drop the la to come up with the Bourbon 'Reine Victoria', or drop the 'Victoria' to come up with the Hybrid Perpetual 'La Reine'.
You may be able to distinguish between the two by these descriptions, from Brent C. Dickerson's The Old Rose Advisor. Reine Victoria (Bourbon) Labruyere, Schwartz, 1872. Long willowy branches which hang and bend forlornly with the weight of the Spring bloom, made all the worse by rain, when the beauty of the globular blossoms becomes discernible to none but observant lizards and aesthetically-inclined ants.....the blossoms are a smoky lilac-rose.
