'Lady Curzon' rose Description

Medium pink Hybrid Rugosa.
Bloom:
Pink. Strong fragrance. Large, single (4-8 petals) bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing.
Height: up to 4' (up to 120cm). Width: up to 6' (up to 185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Very vigorous.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
See references. A rose labeled as Lady Curzon was checked and found to be diploid on January 1, 2011. The ploidy was rechecked 2 weeks later, with the same result. Since two earlier sources have claimed that Lady Curzon is triploid, positive identification of this recent diploid rose will be necessary.
