This was my first year for lasting peace ( own root ) and it did fantastic growth wise and really put out the most beautiful flowers . I was amazed with the amount of blooms , I have at least 20 + own root roses and this is the first one to do this it's first year . I have to give credit to Northland Rosarism for sending me a good size and healthy plant I will order from them again .

Just an update - this rose is still incredible and continues to have all of the qualities as I mentioned in my former post. See my four photos under the Photos tab.

This has to be the best performing rose that I have ever had. I have two of them and they are both vigorous bloomers all summer with beautiful roses! There were times last summer when I could count 30 roses in different stages on just one of these bushes (the other one had almost as many) - that's just amazing in my book! The roses also last well in a vase. (See two of my pictures under "photos"). I live in Eugene, OR which is Zone 8a. It can get quite wet here, so black spot usually shows up on at least some of my roses every year. However, Lasting Peace has never had much of a problem with black spot - this season so far, only about 5 infected leaves on a bush that is 5 feet tall and about 2.5 feet wide.
