This is an apparently repeat-blooming multiflora, which makes a sprawling shrub.

Thanks Sambolingo. These characteristics added. Do you know where it came from?
PhillipOliver, iin his photo intimates it was a "found rose". At the moment it is shown as a 'bred rose'.

These are just my observations of one plant. I haven't found any new references about its origins. Sorry I don't have any more info about it.
