Registration name: Rose Osaka
Origin:
Bred by Kikuo Teranishi (Japan, 2000).
Introduced in Japan by Itami Rose Nursery in 2003 as 'My Reiko'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red.  None to mild fragrance.  41 petals.  Average diameter 6".  Large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, exhibition bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, upright.  Large, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for exhibition or garden.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
