Judith... thank you so much for providing additional information to fill in the blanks on the rose pages. Many of the fields were added long after the rose had initially been entered into the database. Every field we define improves the ADVANCE SEARCH feature.
It's true that I really love roses, and like having a vase indoors too. So if, using the Advance Search, I can find more that have a long vase life, I'm interested too! Hopefully others will add more information they might have .... Though it unfortunately means you have to go through it and add the details. Sorry! But many thanks again, Lyn!
When I volunteered to work on the HMF site years ago, my goal was to bring the database up-to-date and I am happy to add information to any rose page. This project takes hours of my time as well as that of several other volunteers. We all believe that HMF is one of the best sources of rose infomation on the Internet and anything that improves the site is worth the time and effort. The admin team is constantly working on updating the software, so it's up to volunteers to work on the database. The site has continued to become more and more useful as we all work together and having any kind of help from the rose community is very much appreciated.
