According to Vintage Gardens, this has been identified as Lucky Lady, 1967. Any comments or info from anyone?

Many thanks goncmg. The 2006 Vintage reference confirms your info. "Grey Lady Pink" has now been merged into the 'Lucky Lady' page.

Is anyone else growing this own root? Mine is from Heirloom and it is a strong, beautiful LITTLE plant........like a Mini-Flora........it is definitely Lucky Lady, the bloom, although small, looks like every picture I have ever seen of Lucky Lady and I thought maybe it was one of those "small" GR's but I have AARS annuals 68 and 71, it is in the proof reviews, and every then was growing budded and saying how BIG a plant it is..........there was also a bed in from of the Mission Santa Barbara up through the late 90's (now gone), and yes, it was a BIG rose..........big or small it really isn't impressive. I only bought it because it was AARS the year I was born and listed in Edlund's "Pocket Encyclopedia of Roses" 2nd ed 1968 in the back and somehow was barely available even in the mid-70's, now I see for good reason. Odd how tastes ebb and flow and what wins AARS really speaks only to the literal YEAR from time to time......
