Bred by Jean Desprez (France, before 1840).
Introduced in France by Jardins de Farcy-les-Lys in 1840 as 'Baronne Delaage'.
Class:
China / Bengale, Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep pink or crimson.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
