Bred by Rudolf Geschwind (1829-1910) (Austria-Hungary (former), before 1884).
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Hybrid Setigera.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, lighter edges.  Salmon-red.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 2.5".  Medium, very double, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, flat bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing.  

Height: up to 9'10" (up to 300cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.
