Even if you didn't plant this rose for the beautiful color, plant it for the glossy, deep green foilage. It is ultra healthy. I can't wait to see how it survives a cold winter
Yes! Dolly survived extreme (minus 20) cold but was covered by 5 feet or more of snow at the time. I got several blossoms despite our miserable summer. Many plants (mostly iris and lilies) budded but never got the chance to bloom. Now it's October and already snowing. We're hoping for a better summer for 2012.
