ARS:
Hybrid Tea. Registration name: San Diego (hybrid tea, Hieatt, 1937)
Bloom:
Apricot. Deep orange yellow. Strong fragrance. 50 petals. Large, double (17-25 petals), classic hybrid tea, exhibition bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.
Habit:
Bushy, compact, upright. Leathery foliage.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Very vigorous. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
