'San Diego' raised by Forrest L. Hieatt in 1937 was from 'Shot Silk' X 'Mrs. C. W. Edwards' and was a large deep orange-yellow. The name reused in 1968 by D. L. Armstrong was for a light yellow seedling of 'Helen Traubel' X 'Tiffany'.
