Origin:
Bred by Joseph Laperrière fils (1907-1983) (France, before 1950).
Introduced in France by EFR (Editions Françaises des Roses) in 1951 as 'Madame Louis Laperrière'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1954 as 'Madame Louis Laperrière'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson.  Moderate fragrance.  40 to 50 petals.  Medium, very full (41+ petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, upright.  Matte, dark green foliage.  

Height: 2' to 32" (60 to 80cm).  Width: 2' to 39" (60 to 100cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.
