Forms a broad outgoing bush, about 5 by 5 feet. Stems are thin and tender. Rather large dark brilliant pink flowers that appear from late May right through June over a long period. Doesn't look like a typical Pimpinellifolia. Foliage is rather light green, stems have many small thorns. Doesn't do that well in the shade, where pimpinellifolias thrive.
