'Madhatter' rose Reviews & Comments

Mom trusted a plant of this rose to a couple in Australia who wanted to be her agent. They did not consult with her, before they chose to renamed her rose to G'Day. Madhatter never was sold under the name G'Day, because mother immediate stop that couple in their tracks. They were very nearly part of a lawsuit, before their nursery went belly up.
As for the rose Madhatter, I believe that it may have become extinct. The last plant of this rose that I ever saw was sent to a public garden but died within weeks, along with the rest of the shipment which died due to neglect.
When I grew this rose, it was a beautiful, bright yellow specimen that seemed healthy and nice, if all you wanted was a decorative rose. I was looking for show minis at the time, and this rose did not fit into that category.
