'Persian Flame' rose Reviews & Comments

I still have this rose. Its a strong, but really wispy, grower, to about 3' x 3'. The color is to die for. It does not really repeat, with many some minor exceptions later in the summer, but it really doesn't need much care, either. It does not seem to care much about summer heat or lack of pruning, so I mostly leave it to do its thing, and it seems content to bloom every year as it is.

I tried using it for 3 years in a row. 100% failure rate, whether in dry or humid weather.

Turning out to be a great miniature rose. This is the third year I've had it. The first two years, I did not have any blooms and then this year, wow!- an absolute explosion of scarlet/orange blooms. The first flush bloomed at the same time as my oriental poppies and worked well to repeat the color.
