This rose eventually achieved a height of 6' and 8-10' wide when unpruned and budded to fortuniana.

2009, This rose does not climb. This was confirmed today today by Girija Viraraghavan.
So far 'Alister's Gift' is about 4' tall here in my California low desert garden after three seasons.
