Update:

After 3 years since planting this rose, I can say it has Excellent shade tolerance, Excellent Blackspot resistance, and is a moderately fast grower. It shows no signs of being bothered by rust, powdery mildew, or Blackspot whatsoever, even in 120" of annual rainfall and 70% humidity.
The blossoms are never fully opened, but only during the hottest of weather, do they unfold slightly (see my photos). Otherwise, the bud stays tight for 7-11 days until it falls off (still closed), proving this to be a 'forever bud', which can be a nice switch up from the standard appearance. When flushing, the bush looks like it's covered in pink christmas lightbulbs. Very showy and unusual. It's a must have for a collector of unusual roses. Flowers bloom in flushes, and in clusters of around 9-18 flowers. Quite a conversation piece.

Rosebud aka Pink Rose Bud (informally) is a rambler with a sprawling and crawling habit. Foliage, flowers and canes have excellent disease resistance, notably doing well in some shade. Does exceptionally well in dappled sunlight. Similar disease tolerance and shade tolerance as Seven Sisters, with a very similar growth habit, rambling cane structure, medium number of very small thorns, and green pliable/supple characteristics.
Flowers have between 18-22 petals, with each flower being a perfect closed urn shape, which is likely where it gets the name “Rose Bud” since it has a perfect closed bud vase shape, similar to the Apothecary Rose when in bud. Unusually long-lasting buds. Some have lasted up to 3 weeks in ideal conditions.
Coloration is an antique (cerise) pink. Fragrance is light-medium with a honey musk fragrance. During a warm period, the fragrance can drift during a flush.

Blooms on new and old wood, indeterminate, and typically has between 6-12 flowers in a cluster.
Buds open very slowly, and are quite novelty and showy for a very long time. Flowers slow to develop over a long period of time, and only reflex somewhat on the last 2 days.
New foliage is a wine/burgundy color, and the leaf bracts tend to remain reddish for quite some time.

Highly Blackspot resistant, I would consider this an earthkind rose, as it does not appear to need any spray or any special attention. Does not need dead-headed, as it appears to be pollen sterile, and does not set hips.
Needs support to ramble along a fence, otherwise, it can become a sprawling groundcover. Each cane can grow 8-10 feet or longer if not pruned. Very adaptive to shade and continues to bloom with less than ideal sunlight.

Blooms in sporadic flushes throughout the growing season. Flowers are often overlapping in flushes. Not very winter hardy to Zone 8a
