Discovered by Edmund M. Wood & Co. / Waban Rose Conservatories (United States, 1891).
Introduced in Australia by Robert Rattray's Rosebank Nursery in 1894 as 'Waban'.

Carmine-pink, orange-red flecks, lighter center, darker edges.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.
