I became acquanted with Dr. Krüger's 'Bolkoburg' as new rose with great effect for groups. The habit is short, the bloom continuous and always solitary. The blooms did not discolour with me over many days. The descent is: Tom WoodXPrincesse de Béarn. I have used the latter rose gladly for crossings due to its lasting colour, one only has to choose pollen parents with quite long buds.
