Frank Moore, Rose Echoes From the Homeland
There is something almost sublime about McGredy's Ivory, with that chastity of form, petals tall and most divinely fair, freely given on long straight wood—a favourite of mine.

Mr J. Dixon Kinvig, Hawthorn, Vic.  Recent Roses.
McGredy's Ivory. A Rose I am very fond of because it is such a good "doer." I suppose, being more often than not of a white colour, it fails to receive the support that I think it deserves. It has size, length of petal, moderately full, free, good growth and healthy appearance, and appears to be immune to mildew.
