This cv was introduced in France as Cyrano de Bergerac NOT as Full Moon Rising. Could you please correct the record?

Please fix the origin of this rose. It is not a sport of 'Polka', it's a sport of 'Colette'

I think you might be referring to 'Yellow Romantica' (syns 'Lunar Mist' and 'Madeline'). That was a sport of 'Colette'.

We do count on members of the rose community to let us know about errors in the HMF database, so thank you for taking the time to make a report.
If you click on the VIEW USPTO PATENT button on the 'Cyrano de Bergerac' rose page, you can view the lineage of the "invention" as disclosed in the patent which states, "The new variety was found to display a distinctive blossom coloration unlike that of the `Meitosier` variety, and is believed to be a spontaneous mutation of unknown causation of such variety. "
'Meitosier' is the breeder code name for 'Polka' also known as 'Polka 91' and a few other synonyms.
Smiles,
Lyn

According to Meilland Richardier, height 1.5 to 3m, width 1.5m. 90-100 petals.

Thank YOU for all the good work! (In any case, that does seem a more probable height ... for Meilland.)

I wonder how long the flowers last on this one? I am looking for a climber with yellow coloring, and the golden showers I bought the flowers shattered within a day.
