We have concluded that this is about the most satisfactory yellow Rose for garden use among the well known standard varieties, and a great many of our rose friends agree with us. The canary-yellow buds and flowers leave nothing more to be desired—they have beauty of form and wonderful cutting value, and the vigorous bush is lavish with the blooms. We know of no yellow rose in its class that we would recommend ahead of it.

Website/Catalog (1929) Page(s) 9. Recent Introductions and Rare Varieties Mrs. Erskine Pembroke Thom. Hybrid Tea. (Howard & Smith, 1926.) Slender yellow buds and large, well-shaped blooms of bright canary-yellow, deepest in center. The plant is of exceptional vigor and blooms very freely. A satisfactory new Rose of the Souvenir de Claudius Pernet type, but its bright yellow color does not fade, and it has a good clean center. All the reports we get of this Rose are favorable. It seems likely that it is the coming yellow Rose for American gardens. $2 each.
