'Show Stopper™' rose Reviews & Comments

I have this rose through mistaken shipment.
Pros: Good form, good vigor, good plant architecture.
Cons: Poor springtime disease. Color is fawn-ish in the PNW in the spring, and greenish in the summer in the PNW. The warm colors only seem to be present in mid-range weather. These tones don't enhance the rose imo. No scent.
I don't particularly like the rose. I will keep it until I need the spot for a different, smaller rose, but will keep it around as company until then. Basically, its my stray cat for awhile, but wouldn't go out of my way to get it.

It is one of the most reliable small mini floras for producing "exhibition" form every time, however. So it stays in my garden. In fact, I have two. The other "mini floras" that produce reliable exhibition form are much bigger plants.

I have had Power Point for 4 years now, and its my favorite.
I do like the silvery mauve minifloras by the late Dee Bennett, as well.
I remember growing Powerhouse and loathed it. Really bizarre, lanky proportions and smallish blooms for the huge plant. I got it for the color and ditched it for its plethora of issues.
My favorite miniflora seedling that I raised is from Shadow Ninja x Gypsy Dancer. Its a 15 petal hot orange w/ lemon reverse. Ages to coral orange w/ cream reverse. Huge clusters, great vigor, good health. Not exhibition form, however. I should post it some day but I try to not put seedlings on HMF unless I think they have educational value.

I would seriously question whether the photos of this Show Stopper mini-flora rose are correct. Two photos from two different photographers show distinct differences. The colors aren't even close, and the form of the blooms don't appear to be the same either. Is there any way to validate whether or not these photos are the correct plant?? I am interested in purchasing this but don't want to unless I am sure of the color. I want the lighter more apricot feel rather than the darker pinkier looking rose blooms of the other photographers shots. John John
