Bred by Herbert C. Swim (United States, before 1953).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1954 as 'Mojave'.
Introduced in United States by Armstrong Roses in 1954 as 'Mojave'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Apricot - orange, darker veining.  Flowers apricot-orange tinted red, prominently veined.  Moderate, fruity fragrance.  25 petals.  Average diameter 4.75".  Large, double (17-25 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy foliage.  

Height: 3' to 4¼' (90 to 130cm).  Width: 2' (60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
