Moody Dream (MACmoodre) Shrub. McGredy 1999... Huge clusters of small lavender blooms of about 18 petals and about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Each petals seems to have a unique white edge that makes the blooms stand out. The plant grows as wide as it does high, a shrub that can reach six feet or more by fall in moderate climates... hardy... almost no disease... sets seed... If you do not deadhead the spent blooms, it will produce the same number of bright orange seed hips as it did flowers...

Moody Dream (MACmoodre) McGredy 1996; 'Moody Blues' x 'Lavender Dream'; 21 reports on 25 bushes; 1.7 metres; 7.7 rating. Large semi double flowers with mauve blends and glossy foliage. The bush needs space and is very healthy. Some think it is more like a shrub rose. Lovely scent and the blooms last well.

Moody Dream (MACmoodre); McGredy 1996; 'Moody Blues' x 'Lavender Dream'; blooms are mauve blend; 3 reports on 6 bushes; 3 years; 1.6 metres; 7.8 rating. Kaitaia find it a pretty mauve pink, making a great display. Marlborough say lovely colour and the disease-free bush is always in flower. Fabulous with 'Blackberry Nip'. Franklin have blooms in trusses of seven or more. Excellent repeat and health. The vigorous growth goes a bit mad in the autumn.

Moody Dream (MACmoodre). McGredy 1996; mauve blend; 5 reports on 6 bushes; 2-3years; 1.8 metres; 7.2 rating. Large floribunda with glossy foliage. Kaitaia reports vigorous! nearly a climber. Canes bend with weight of blooms, which are lovely. Bush needs space. Marlborough says it is so healthy even mites by-pass it. Always in flower. Manawatu says more of a shrub. Like 'Lavender Dream'. Healthy but with a poor repeat. Gisborne loves the scent. Bay of Plenty shifted the bush to a fence for support as it grows long shoots. Slow to flower but with nice clusters but too few of them.

Moody Dream (MACmoodre); McGredy 1996; mauve blend; 5 reports on 5 plants; 1-2 years; 1.6 metres; 7.6 rating. Another new one last year and in some ways is more like a shrub than a floribunda, grows strong and tall with a pleasing effect. North Otago says healthy, long flowering period and pretty colouring. Marlborough likes the vibrant mauve, very showy with good repeat, no vices. Kaitaia says it grows to about 3 metres aiming for the sky, lovely heads of mauve blooms. Wairoa found it very good over summer on a new plant. Manawatu reports very glossy foliage, attractive in flower but repeat rather slow, a lot of energy goes into growth, showy with flowers similar to 'Lavender Dream' but much larger and not as free flowering.

Moody Dream (MACmoodre); McGredy 1996; mauve blend; 3 reports on 3 plants; 1 year; 1.8 metres; 7.3 (interim) rating. Another new one this year and in some ways is more like a shrub. than a floribunda, grows strong and tall. Kaitaia says all growth so far sends out long shoots with few flowers, and clusters do not last long. Napier reports lots of flowers which hold their colour. Another from Kaitaia tall vigorous grower, mauve toned flowers in large clusters, the florets are semidouble and pretty, lovely for baskets, repeat is slow, glossy healthy foliage, about 3 metres tall. Resembles 'Lavender Dream', although the flowers are bigger, taller growing and not as free flowering.
