Medium pink Hybrid Rugosa.
Origin:
Bred by Dr. Ernö Kaufmann (Austria-Hungary (former), 1894).
Class:
Hybrid Roxburghii, Hybrid Rugosa.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, yellow undertones.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium, single (4-8 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  

Height: up to 39" (up to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Hardy.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Vihorlat is a mountain range and nature reserve in eastern Slovakia. Before World War I, this region was part of Hungary.
