Class:
Hybrid Arvensis.  
Bloom:
Lilac-pink, white undertones, orange stamens.  Strong, musk fragrance.  20 to 25 petals.  Average diameter 2.25".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing.  Small foliage.  7 leaflets.  

Height: 10' to 13' (305 to 395cm).  Width: up to 13'1" (up to 400cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .

Notes:
Berengaria of Navarra (ca. 1265-1230) married Richard Lionheart in 1191 on the island of Cyprus. In 1229, she founded the Cistercian Abbey of L'Epau near Le Mans (Sarthe).
