Blooming is short by lasting about two-three weeks. This climber likes to planted under light shadows, where we can see delicate violet/purple nuances when flowers are opening. This variety doesn't have much foliage, wood is really thorny and its leaves are prone to dark spots during summers, sometimes to the point being leafless. Nevertheless in May, with the abundance of semi-double flowers which are beautifully shaped like those of the Nelumbo nucifera, there is quite a magical charm in some way... Let me remind here also that the correct name for this rose is 'Reine Bérengère', and not - Bérèngere - ! Thanks for reading.
