Paul Pélisson 1624 – 1693, Ecrivain et historien

I suppose the references about this rose are a good example of how the meanings of "colour" words vary from country to country, and change with time. However, the photos (which are of a lovely rose) don't seem to match the descriptions, except the 1994 one.
