Bred by Eugene S. Boerner (United States, before 1964).
Introduced in France by Vilmorin-Andrieux in 1964 as 'Polynesian Sunset'.
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. (Newark, NY) in 1965 as 'Polynesian Sunset'.
Introduced by Unknown (Australia) in 1966 as 'Polynesian Sunset'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Coral - orange.  Moderate, fruity fragrance.  Average diameter 6".  Very large, double (17-25 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Leathery foliage.  

Height: 32" to 39" (80 to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
