Book (1947) Page(s) 127. Rev. Page Roberts (Garden & Show) A lovely rose with lambent lights in its shadings of soft buff, with salmon, carmine and yellow suffusions on outside of petals. Perfect exhibition form, large double flowers. Only weakness is growth; often in Sydney it is a weedy, straggly grower. In other places with suitable soil it seems to thrive, and there it is really a gem. Perfume of ripe apples. Fragrant. Habit 2. (Pernetiana) A.H.M.Mts.P. and favoured places in S.

Website/Catalog (1945) Page(s) 22. 'Rev. F. Page Roberts'. Large, double, very beautiful blooms of true exhibition form, with an inner face of soft buff and a reverse of rich salmon shaded carmine and yellow. The flowers last well in water. The plants as a rule are not very vigorous, and in many places appear to be weakening in constitution after several years of growth.
