'Rheinaupark' winter kills severely in Zone 3 but the flowers bloom on new wood. Because of the deep red flowers, it is spectacular in full bloom. This cultivar should be trialed more in cold (Zone 3 - 4) climates. Apparently it is prone to blackspot in warmer climates, but at the St. Albert Botanic Park in Alberta, Canada it hasn't been a problem.
