My first 'Bardou Job' flower today... what a scent-explosion! The scent is hard to describe, but I'll try: apple-blossom, sweet violet, rose, a tiny bit of bitter almonds and a dash of Lily of the Valleys.
This rose humiliates/denigrates the scent of (the at the same time flowering) 'Gertrude Jekyll'.
