Pink. Mild to strong fragrance. 5 petals. Average diameter 1.75". Small to medium, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer. Glandular sepals, rounded buds.

Habit:

Short, armed with thorns / prickles, bristly , bushy, sends out runners, upright, well-branched. Medium, glossy, dark green, attractive fall color foliage. 5 to 11 leaflets.

Height: 2' to 4'11" (60 to 150cm). Width: 3' (90cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 2b and warmer. Very hardy. drought resistant. produces decorative hips.
