Deep pink. Purple or pink. 5 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Small, single (4-8 petals) bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Medium, few or no prickles/thorns, suckers on its own roots. 7 to 9 leaflets.
Height: 3' to 10' (90 to 305cm). Width: up to 5' (up to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer. Hardy. produces decorative hips.

Notes:
R. pendulina L. (1753). Section Cinnamomeae. The Swedish Rose Society recommends Rosa pendulina for northern Sweden. Randall De Trinis, of Sherando Roses, has been growing this rose for about six years in USDA Zone 6 and reports his plants are six feet high and five feet wide. Red hips.
