Introduced in Germany by Max Krause Rosenschulen in 1938 as 'Rosa X pteragonis M.Krause ex Kordes'.
Class:
Hybrid Hugonis, Hybrid Pteracantha, Species Cross.  
Bloom:
Light yellow.  None to mild fragrance.  5 petals.  Medium to large, single (4-8 petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright, well-branched.  Small, matte foliage.  9 to 11 leaflets.  

Height: 6'7" to 9'10" (200 to 300cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
