Salmon Spray. Fl. Good reliable rebloom. Good fragrance. Height: 3 [3-4’ tall] Grant, 1923. Provenance: Lowe’s Own-Root Roses, NH. A rambunctious Floribunda from Polyantha breeding; light salmon-pink blooms with carmine-pink shadings on the reverse. Grow it as a modest shrub 3’ x 4’ wide.

On a question of identity, ‘Salmon Spray’ as shown, bears no resemblance to the rather coarse Australian floribunda which I had in my former garden for many years, but it impresses me as a fine reproduction of the pre-war single hybrid tea rose ‘Dainty Bess’.
