Magazine  (Mar 2021)  Page(s) 4. Vol 43, No. 1.

Some years ago a southern nursery sent out “Camnethan Cherry-red” (aka “Susan Irvine’s Pink Tea”) labelled Beauty of Rosemawr. The mix-up appears to have been a straight swap, as two Queensland nurseries received Beauty of Rosemawr (China, before 1902) labelled “Susan Irvine’s Pink Tea” (identified by Billy West).

‘Beauty of Rosemawr’ = Thé. Van Fleet, US, 1903.

Some Tea and Rugosa varieties are expanding, so that the rose bloom will surely have started in the Mosel valley early June.
