*Prolifera tricolor (Lemon). Fleur extra-grande, pétales de la circonférence larges, carné jaunâtre, ceux du centre ligulés jaune foncé, stigmates pourpres, huppe au milieu très-large, carnée.

Translation: the extra-large flower has broad, yellowish-blush guard petals; the petal hinges are a deep yellow, the stigmas are purple, and the central crown is wide and flesh-colored. The varieties marked * should not be missing from any well-appointed garden.
