Shocking Blue Kordes 1974. Description... This rose was attracting lots of attention from the time it was named, but the public had to wait almost ten years before it became available. The reason was that it was being used merely as a cut flower, until someone with the courage took it into the garden... nowhere near blue but is a mauve lavender that softens to a creamy lavender...
