My copy from them this year seems to be remarkably pastel. Its definitely Singin in the Rain.Every trait is correct, except that its lacking any bronze, gold, or angular petals. The petals are instead soft, round and flat, and buff peach in color. I am wondering if a flower sport has been cloned. Historically, this rose does sport.

Singing-in-the-rain is a good seed parent. Jim Sproul, the breeder, stated, "good seed parents to try are: ‘Gemini’, ‘Stainless Steel’, ‘Singin’ in the Rain’, ‘Fabulous’, ‘Queen Elizabeth’, ‘Sheer Bliss’, ‘Lynn Anderson’ and ‘Livin’ Easy’. For the minis, try ‘Rise 'n' Shine’, ‘Fairhope’, ‘Halo Today’, ‘Black Jade’, or ‘Pearl Sanford’. In my experience, all of these roses reliably produce hips with lots of seeds, and ultimately they all have high germination rates." Jim Sproul.

Singin'-in-the-rain is a compact, slender bush at nearby rose park zone 5a - and have the most blooms to leaves ratio. The color is stunning in cool weather.

I saw "Singing-in-the-rain" at the rose park. It looks best in real-life. The color really glows from a distance. I have seen it in cool spring, hot summer, and cold fall - it's always loaded with blossoms (more so than Knock-out). It's the most impressive, most floribundous among hundreds of roses at the park. It beats Julia Child in being covered with blooms. The scent is light. McShane's nursery listed Singin' In The Rain as black-spot resistant along with Belinda's dream, Livin' Easy, Sally Holmes, and The Fairy.
