It is the quaint custom of that grand old rosarian,Mr Alister Clark to bestow upon his seedling roses 'nick names' pending more formal designations should they prove worthy of perpetuation.Mr Dunallan,honorary treasurer of the NRSV told Oriel [columnist for the Argus] yesterday …..Mr Clark looked at a gigantic young climber 25ft tall and said "I'll have to call that ‘Obvious’.
