Origin:
Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997) (Germany, 1981).
Introduced in United Kingdom by John Mattock, The Rose Nurseries in 1984 as 'Toynbee Hall'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Pink.  Mild, wild rose fragrance.  34 petals.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in large clusters, cupped, rosette bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Rounded buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, compact.  Small, glossy, medium green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 2' (60cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Heat tolerant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
