Docteur Abel Ducau (Thé). — Arbuste nain, bien ramifié; rameaux minces, teintés rougeâtre: peu d'aiguillons très fins; boutons moyens, allongés; fleur moyenne, pleine, d'un beau blanc pur; pétales du centre pointus, en forme de cornet, passant au blanc éclatant; odeur spéciale et pénetrante; floraison abondante et continuelle jusqu'aux gelées; variété recommandable pour bordure de massifs et pour culture en pots. Dediée à un amateur d'Illats (Gironde).
Les cinq variétés précédentes sont mises au commerce par M. Chauvry, rosiériste, 115, allées de Boutant, à Bordeaux.

Docteur Abel Ducau (Tea). — A dwarf, well-branched shrub with thin, reddish canes; the few prickles are quite fine; the buds are of medium size and elongated; the medium-sized flower is full and of a fine pure white aging to a brighter white; the central petals are pointed in the form of a cornet; the fragrance is distinctive and penetrating; flowering abundantly and continuously until frosts; the variety is useful for bordering massed beds and for pot culture. Dedicated to an amateur from Illats (Gironde).
The five preceding varieties are introduced to commerce by Mr. Chauvry, rosarian, 115 allées de Boutant, in Bordeaux.
