Valley Village, California April, 2014 The yellow tones are unusual, there is usually much more pink to the blossoms than this year's spring flush has.

These photos were taken on April 10th of 2014 in Valley Village, California. The 3 photos show a single 1 meter high basal break with the better part of a thousand buds in a huge central cluster with three large clusters around it. Buds are held close with 1 to 3 cm stems, open apricot and fade to white.
