Introduced in France by Jean-Pierre Vibert in before 1837 as 'Bizarre marbrée'.
Introduced in Australia by F. C. Davis in 1862 as 'Cécile Boireau'.

Gallica / Provins.  
Bloom:
Deep pink to pink, white mottling, white streaks, stripes, flecks, blush mottling.  Large, very double bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.
