This cultivar was first presented in 1911 at the rose exhibition in Saverne [Zabern] Alsace. At the new-rose competition 'Adeline Wolfhügel' reached 4 (of five possible) points.[Rosen-Zeitung 1911 p.74] In the forthcoming years 'Adeline Wolfhügel' never was mentioned again, so probably this cultivar never went into commerce.
